Two Metro Transit robbery suspects were just taken into custody near 8th and Nicollet to Hennepin Ave. The suspects tossed items and bystanders picked up the stuff. One person that picked up items is in a wheelchair. Police are out with that person
State Patrol says Julian Griffin, 46, of Brooklyn Center, entered 694 from University Ave., turned at the top of the ramp and began driving westbound before striking an SUV head-on. The driver of the SUV—ID'd as Mary Ruegsegger, 78, of Mounds View, also died at the scene
