Bloomington - Before 6p., a male reported a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The 15y/o Hispanic M said he found the gun at a party in Minneapolis. An article search ensued for the gun. Extent of injury is not known, but medics were requested Code 3, urgent. Near 82nd and Queen Ave S
Police tell the suspect involved was being pursued by state troopers while driving a stolen Ford fusion. At one point, the suspect was driving the wrong way down Highway 100 nearly striking a Hennepin County Sheriff's cruiser, in the process
The suspect continued to lead officers on a chase, ultimately crashing the pick up truck behind an apartment complex near France Avenue, and Highway 100

Before 8a., a red VW GTI was stolen with a dog inside from 33xx Elliot Ave. Within 30 minutes, police spotted the vehicle at 29th & 12th Ave S (aka drug dealer central). They turned around to check & they saw the dog running toward Lake St. An officer was able to capture the dogdog2heartpulse

A 26-year-old man was arrested in connection with the shooting and is being held on suspicion of first-degree assault, police said. Classes at Central High School, across the street from the rec center, were canceled Thursday
. Benjamin Richardson, III, a Brooklyn Park homicide suspect was arrested in Forest, VA. on Tuesday. Several firearms, ammunition and data storing devices were seized as a result of the search of the residence. Richardson is being held awaiting extradition to Minnesota

The shooting outside the Jimmy Lee Rec Center on Lexington Avenue North has sparked a large police response. The shooting put Central High School, which is across the street, into lockdown for about 45 minutes. Evening activities have been cancelled
