Happened around 10 p.m. outside the Karmel Mall in south Minneapolis (29th and Pleasant Ave).The male who was struck was age 44 and was transported to the hospital with an ankle injury

MINNEAPOLIS: Officers and medics are on scene downtown near 5th and Portland Ave. after a Light Rail train struck a passenger vehicle. Officers report the train struck the vehicle on the driver's side and there is a backseat passenger with a head injury inside the vehicle

SAINT PAUL: Shots fired - 1177 Clarence St. - Officers are on scene after shots were fired in the parking lot of Cub Foods. The initial 911 caller said two males were shooting at each other. Officers have cleared the parking lot and said multiple spent casings were found.
