Brooklyn Park Police responded to a report of an individual who had been shot in the hand in the 8200 block of Zane Avenue North. Upon arrival, officers located the juvenile victim, who sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his hand. According to the victim, he was standing on the side of the road when a vehicle stopped, fired a single shot, and struck him in the hand. The suspect vehicle fled the scene before 911 was called.
