Police say are now calling this a hostage situation with the suspect's girlfriend who is still in the car. The scene is still active tonight

Edina - Active shooter reported at Southdale. Started about 8 p.m. Several people took cover and sheltered in place while law enforcement responded and set up a perimeter. Several agencies responded. Broken glass was found, police checked for any victims
Officers were out with a possible gunshot victim outside Door 13, but they now report that male does not have any visible gunshot injuries
A male who had called 911 to report he'd been shot and was in the parking lot has not been found by officers. - There are no confirmed injuries at this time. Officers are holding a perimeter around the mall
