At some point, responding officers and deputies discharged both less-than-lethal rounds and their department firearms, striking the man. They performed life-saving measures until the man could be transported to the hospital for treatment. He is expected to survive

Two people were taken into custody from the suspect vehicle and officers searched for the driver, described as a Native American female wearing a black hoodie. The vehicle came back stolen
