At some point, responding officers and deputies discharged both less-than-lethal rounds and their department firearms, striking the man. They performed life-saving measures until the man could be transported to the hospital for treatment. He is expected to survive

This investigation is still in the early stages. A sword was recovered at the scene. Body-worn cameras captured the incident. More information will be released pending further investigation

Just before 10 p.m. Friday, officers and deputies responded to the 6600 block of Oak Ridge Court in North Branch on reports of a suicidal man. When they arrived, they encountered a man armed with a sword

On the Blaine Northtown Cub carjacking last Saturday where the suspect fired a gun. Blaine PD arrested Justin Michael Kittleson of Coon Rapids. In custody on 1st degree aggravated robbery and 2nd degree assault. $750,000 bail. The stolen vehicle has not been located

. About 9:30 a.m., burglary of occupied dwelling. Female suspect entered the residence and was reportedly fighting with occupants. The suspect is reportedly known in the area and has a history of entering homes. Hispanic F in 20s, wearing a head covering. 34xx 1st Ave S
The 28th and Bloomington Ave/Greenway area encampment is getting razed again today. Several guns have been recovered, including rifles, and at least 2 stolen vehicles have been recovered
