A 16-year-old boy is dead after a shooting in north Minneapolis on Thursday night
Chief O’Hara announced that a 16-year-old boy was killed and a man in his 40s was injured in a shooting. At approximately 5:30 p.m., Fourth Precinct officers responded to reports of multiple shots fired on the 1300 block of 18th Ave N. Officers located a 16-year-old boy outside with life-threatening gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts by officers and paramedics, the boy died at the scene.
