2 month agoSPPD tells us their officers were assisting Ramsey County deputies with a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Maryland Ave. E. when they heard gunfire close-by. An adult male victim with a wound to the armpit area was found nearby.

2 month agoParamedics transported the man, believed to be in his 30s, with a life-threatening head injury. He was in traumatic arrest and CPR was ongoing during transport
SAINT PAUL: Maryland Ave. E. & Prosperity Ave. – Police and medics are on scene after an adult male pedestrian was struck by a driver. The victim was not conscious or breathing, and officers began CPR. The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating.
2 month agoSAINT PAUL: 9xx Fremont Ave. – Crews were dispatched just before 11:45 a.m. to a fire at a two-story single-family home. Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire showing from the roof in the back of the home, which then spread to a neighboring house.
MAPLEWOOD: 23xx Maryland Ave. E. – Police are investigating after a fatal hit-and-run took place just after 4:30 a.m. A newspaper delivery driver called 911 after finding a body in the roadway and reported seeing a van speed away. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

2 month agoMINNEAPOLIS: 9xx 22nd Ave. NE. – Crews are on scene of a fatal house fire in a two-story duplex. Firefighters arrived around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and reported flames showing from both the first and second floors, possibly spreading from the basement.
