The shooting occurred on the 2400 block of Ferrant Place at approximately 1:30 a.m. and preliminary information indicates that a 14-year-old boy was handling a gun when the 13-year-old boy was shot. There were two adult women and other juveniles in the home at the time of the shooting. No one else was injured. MPD is familiar with both of the boys. The 14-year-old boy was on the scene when officers arrived.

1 day agoPolice are investigating after a person was shot in the city’s North End neighborhood on Monday, Nov. 4. Saint Paul police officers were called to the 500 block of Front Avenue after a caller reported they were assaulted in their vehicle. The adult male caller continued to explain that he shot at the male assaulting him and may have injured him. That male then got into a red vehicle and left the area.
