Saint Paul police have confirmed this shooting was fatal and is being investigated as a homicide, the 6th in the city so far this year.

Two suspects were said to be wearing all black clothing and another had lighter clothing, last seen running westbound from the vehicle. The original reason for the pursuit was a red light violation and having no plate on the vehicle. Richfield is asking for Minneapolis assistance
The suspect vehicle hit stop sticks at 66th St S in Bloomington, however the Eagan squad also hit the sticks. The squad is disabled and units are terminating the chase

2 year agoRichfield PD says that two suspects in today's fatal shooting at a Richfield school have been apprehended and a gun has been recovered. They aren't looking for any other suspects. Last word was that the second victim was in critical condition.
@RichfieldPD makes it official - 2 suspects arrested, handgun recovered after 2 simultaneous search warrants executed in Mpls earlier today. Authorities say here they are NOT looking for any additional suspects tonight.
Richfield Police Chief Jay Henthorne said one student has died and the other is in critical condition as a result of the shooting outside the South Education Center at 7450 Penn Ave S. We reported as the situation developed after noon. The school houses Pre-K to age 21
