Saint Paul police have confirmed this shooting was fatal and is being investigated as a homicide, the 6th in the city so far this year.

Two suspects were said to be wearing all black clothing and another had lighter clothing, last seen running westbound from the vehicle. The original reason for the pursuit was a red light violation and having no plate on the vehicle. Richfield is asking for Minneapolis assistance
