2 year agoFirefighters report they've made some progress in the initial fire unit and were working to extinguish the rest of the blaze. Unknown how many residents have been displaced but Red Cross was requested by officers to be notified
2 year agoBurnsville Fire along with other South Metro Depts. on scene of an apartment fire near 35W and Burnsville Pkwy. We're not sure of cause or injuries but flames appear to have affected at least 3 floors.
2 year agoBuses have been requested to house evacuated residents. EMS was treating one person on scene for an asthma attack but unknown yet if there are other injuries
2 year agoOfficers inside are reporting they can't gain access to the third floor due to the heavy smoke. Firefighters are now inside as well and working to evacuate the building. Another building nearby is also being evacuated.
BURNSVILLE: Structure fire - 13100 Harriet Ave. S. - Officers on scene reporting flames visible on the west side of the complex. 2nd alarm being requested, with several apartment units inside reportedly fully engulfed
