. Follow up on the Anoka County incident we posted earlier. Suspects in a BMW reportedly fired shots at motorcyclists. No injuries. The BMW continued, eventually fled from police and crashed at 91st and Jefferson St NE. A male + female were taken into custody

The Hopkins Police Department said in a media release that the unattached line allowed gas to leak into the residence and eventually ignite. The source of the ignition is unknown, but the fire was deemed accidental, authorities said
2 year agoAuthorities say the house explosion in Hopkins late last month that left a man and woman dead was caused by a gas line that was not reattached after a water heater installation. Herb and Sharon Vassar, both in their 80s, died from the blast
2 year agoThe entire apartment building was deemed uninhabitable due to heavy smoke and water damage. Red Cross has been called for several adults and children. Exact number of families unknown at this time. An MTC Bus has been requested for temporary shelter
