2 year agoBROOKLYN CENTER: State Patrol is assisting BCPD searching for suspects reportedly involved in a carjacking. One suspect has been apprehended and officers are searching for two other suspects-possibly armed-in the area around 61st Ave. N. & Brooklyn Blvd
Officers were making entry to the location the suspect was last seen. That was 20-30 min ago. Have not heard an update since.

2 year agoThe shooting last night at a homeless encampment near Nicollet Ave. & W. 29th St. was fatal, police have confirmed. A man in his 40s was transported to the hospital but later died of his injuries. No arrests have been made. It's the 54th homicide in Minneapolis so far this year
