Police believe they have located the vehicle that may have been involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Alexandria, Minnesota last week. On March 19, Travis Pennig, 26, of Alexandria was fatally struck by a car while walking down 34th Avenue East near the Meadowland Mobile Home Park. The incident happened sometime between 10:15 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. The driver of the car fled the scene.

The Fergus Falls Fire Department responded to a small fire reported at the Regional Treatment Center around 6:15 Thursday night. The Fire Department says it was in the former Power Plant building where crews had been working earlier in the day, using cutting torches. It's believed sparks from the cutting torches caused the ignition of Styrofoam insulation on the upper level.
Investigators say unextinguished cigarettes caused a fatal house fire in northeast Minneapolis last weekend. The Minneapolis Fire Department says the fire was started on the first floor by cigarettes that ignited a sofa in the living room. The cause of the fire was ruled unintentional.

An East Grand Forks man has been accused of selling drugs out of a trailer and workshop. James Edward Kirchoffner, 44, appeared Tuesday in Polk County District Court on several drug charges, including two first-degree controlled substance crimes of sale, a second-degree controlled substance crime of possession and a third-degree controlled substance crime of sale, all felonies. He was arrested March 8 at 1019 Fifth Ave. N.E. after police learned from buyers they were getting meth from that location.

Abdishakur Sandiko, the Uber driver who was critically injured in Friday night's Minneapolis crash, passed away this afternoon according to Minneapolis Police.
Minneapolis police are searching for the suspect who shot and killed and 18-year-old in south Minneapolis Friday night. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Friday in the area of East 43rd Street and First Avenue South. Upon arrival , officers were unable to locate a victim but were then notified an individual had been dropped off at Hennepin County Medical Center.
