Police say they are searching for a homicide suspect.
The fire appeared to be extinguished by around 1:50 a.m. Firefighters were initially dispatched to a "rubbish fire," but found heavy fire atop the canopy. Several apartments are above the store, and it's unknown yet if they had any smoke damage

Suspect fled on foot from a vehicle with a KOPS Alert. Originally reported as three slumped in the vehicle. Near Lake St and 5th Ave S, near the encampment. Suspect: BM, bald. Requesting K9 22:49 Now wanted for 4th degree assault on police

MPD confirms the fatal shooting at 2400 Elliot Ave just after 5 p.m. this evening. An adult male was found with a gunshot to the head. No suspects in custody. MPD calls this homicide number 15 for Mpls
. Police say the suspects are 2 BM, one with a buzz cut, the other with a small afro. Someone reported that another victim may have fled on foot on 4th Ave S. Police are checking the area (other side of 35W, which is reported to be the original scene)

Police said the man repeatedly made verbal and physical threats towards officers and hospital staff during his arrest
Homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting on 11th Ave S this morning. A 29-year-old victim was shot during a suspected drug deal. Strong leads are being pursued at this time
BURNSVILLE: Officers on scene of a domestic assault report at 16xx 143rd St. W. - A male suspect barricaded himself inside a bathroom after kicking out the female victim. Officers are on scene and have deployed pepper spray into the bathroom. Male was just taken into custody

Crash and one of the occupants exited an orange Charger with a rifle and ran down the alley. 40xx 37th Ave S Suspect: WM, 30s, bald, black T-shirt, black pants. He returned and put the rifle back in the vehicle. Occupants of the other vehicle may have fled. Squad 310 340 18:49
