A man was hurt after he crashed his Chevrolet Silverado at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday. 42-year-old Jerry Steffensen of Zimmerman was traveling north on Highway 169 when he lost control of the vehicle near mile post 219, rolled into a ditch, and struck a tree.

Wayzata: A U.S. Postal Service mail truck caught fire near Wayzata, causing a traffic slowdown during the evening commute. The truck caught fire at 3:45 p.m. on westbound 394 and Carlson Parkway.

Homestead Township: A Chevrolet Tahoe and a tractor were involved in a crash at just before 6 p.m. Wednesday. Both vehicles were traveling southbound on County Road 67 when the Tahoe driven by 59-year-old Bert Thomas of Henning ran into the back of the tractor.

Minneapolis firefighters pulled one person from a house fire Tuesday afternoon. It happened shortly after 1 p.m. in the 3600-block of Dupont Ave. North. Crews arrived to find a fire in a bedroom in the upper level of a one and a half story home. Investigators say one person was able to make it out on their own, but firefighters had to rescue someone on the top level.
Police have ruled the death of two Menahga men a murder-suicide. Authorities have not identified those involved, but family is convinced Carl Albin, who lived in the home, is one of the men.

Menahga: Two men are dead after after being shot in Menahga. Police responded to a 911 call at 12:05 a.m. Monday morning. Auhtorities arrived on the scene at an address on Oak Avenue Northeast where the men were found.
Bloomington: A man is in police custody after stabbing two people at the Mall of America on Sunday. Authorities say 20-year-old Mahad Abdiaziz Abdirahaman of Minneapolis was stealing at Macy's in a dressing room when the owner confronted him. Abdirahaman then pulled out a knife and stabbed the man.
St. Louis, MN: A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed while deer hunting in St. Louis County, Minnesota, on Saturday. Officers responded to an accidental shooting around 5:30 p.m. in front of a deer stand on the 5800 block of Stepetz road 53 in White Township.

A man is hospitalized after falling from a downtown St. Paul parking ramp. St. Paul Police tell KSTP residents heard the man calling for help around 1:00 am early Friday morning. Police and fire rescue had to free the man from a space between the Crowne Plaza parking ramp and an adjacent building. Although it's unclear how far he fell, rescue crews pulled him 25 feet to safety.
