Police were called shortly before 2:20 p.m. to the 3700 block of Landings Dr. and found the woman dead at the scene. The man fled the scene on foot but was arrested a short time later without incident nearby. Both the suspect and the victim have not yet been identified

Early morning house fire at 26th and Dupont Ave N. MFD reported no one was injured at the time. Red Cross was called for 2 adults, 3 children and 1 cat. The cause of the fire will be under investigation
