Early morning house fire at 26th and Dupont Ave N. MFD reported no one was injured at the time. Red Cross was called for 2 adults, 3 children and 1 cat. The cause of the fire will be under investigation
Overnight, 1:30 a.m., police were dispatched to 30xx 3rd St N for a slumper** in a vehicle that had been carjacked at gunpoint earlier. When they arrived, the slumper had a Mac 10 in his lap. At least one person was taken into custody.

A suspect was taken into custody moments ago after an hours-long standoff and hostage situation unfolded at a St. Cloud, Minn., Wells Fargo bank branch Thursday afternoon
Here are the moments the last hostage escaped and the suspect was apprehended more than eight hours after the bank robbery was first reported.
MINNEAPOLIS: Self-inflicted stabbing - 34th Ave. S. & Oakland Ave. - Officers requested backup for a male subject who was armed with a knife. - They reported the man stabbed himself, and medics were requested emergent, for a deep laceration to the neck
