A suspect was taken into custody moments ago after an hours-long standoff and hostage situation unfolded at a St. Cloud, Minn., Wells Fargo bank branch Thursday afternoon
Here are the moments the last hostage escaped and the suspect was apprehended more than eight hours after the bank robbery was first reported.
MINNEAPOLIS: Self-inflicted stabbing - 34th Ave. S. & Oakland Ave. - Officers requested backup for a male subject who was armed with a knife. - They reported the man stabbed himself, and medics were requested emergent, for a deep laceration to the neck
ST PAUL: Stabbing - 61x Robert St. N. - Police and medics are responding to a report of a person stabbed in the leg and who was then pushed out of a vehicle. No suspect information was aired
