According to the Austin Police Department, the shooting occurred on the 100 block 12th Street Northeast just after 1 a.m. Responding officers found a man with a gunshot wound, who was pronounced dead at the scene after unsuccessful lifesaving measures
One man was killed and another man critically wounded in an early morning shooting in downtown Rochester near a parking ramp at 3rd St. SW & 1st Ave. A suspect was quickly taken into custody shortly after 2:30 a.m. near the original incident location
