An Elk River man is in critical condition after being shot in Ham Lake on Wednesday night, officials say. Anoka County sheriff’s deputies responded about 7:20 p.m. to the parking lot of a SuperAmerica on Constance Boulevard after receiving a report of a road rage incident that ended in a shooting, according to a news release issued by the sheriff’s office.

Fire crews responded to a mobile home fire at 1608 County Highway 111 in Lake View Estates at 12:35 p.m. on Tuesday. When firefighters arrived on the scene, flames were shooting through the roof of the mobile home and all of the residents were outside. They were able to put the fire out in about 15 minutes and remained at the home for an hour and a half to ensure all hotspots were extinguished.

One person is hurt after a crash on County Road 67 in Otter Tail County at 6:33 p.m. on Monday. 18-year-old Andie Haller of Pine Island, Minnesota was traveling westbound on County Road 67 when she hit a patch of ice and went into the ditch.
A St. Cloud man being held in North Dakota on possible homicide charges is awaiting extradition to Minnesota. The 20-year-old man was arrested near Bismarck early Sunday after a police chase. The man is a suspect in the fatal shooting in Waite Park Saturday. The suspect is in the Burleigh County Jail. Authorities say he could also face charges in North Dakota for possessing a stolen vehicle, fleeing from police and reckless endangerment.
A man is hurt after crashing his car on Highway 59 near 297th street at 10:33 p.m. on Sunday. 18-year-old Malcolm Cabaniss-Smith of Hoffman, Minnesota was in a 2002 Chevrolet Impala when he crashed on the highway. Road conditions were icy at the time.

Rothsay: A man is in jail this morning after leading officers on a high speed chase. Wilkin County Deputies responded to a driving complaint call at 5:25 p.m. on Tuesday. The complaint reported that a vehicle was swearving on I-94 and got off at Rothsay before heading north on Wilkin County Road 52.

Authorities say the death last week of a 71-year-old Hibbing woman has been ruled a homicide. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says Courtney Lee Fenske was found dead in her home just southeast of Hibbing last Wednesday. Sheriff's deputies found Fenske's body while doing a welfare check.

Forest Lake: Two homes were destroyed in a Saturday night fire in Forest Lake. According to fire officials, crews responded to the five-alarm fire on the 1100 block of 9th Avenue SW. Heat and flames caused extensive damage to the house adjacent to the original structure, but there were no injuries to the residents or to responding crews.
